Anyone with a ft-1 have an idea how a 35 f1.8 dx would work on a v1? I'm put off on the high price of the 32mm nikon 1 lens. Plus I would have a normal prime for a future dx camera body. Would focus slow down a lot?

- First: I prefer no flash! But sometimes you just can't get decent shots without a flash. The question which one? SB-N5 or SB-N7? Who has experience? (I like the SB-N5 because no batteries needed)

An example of the nikon 1 v1 handheld at 3200 iso. VR working good, but lots of grain and noise. Still, I like this shot.

Why is it, that when I find the perfect lighting and the perfect angle of view of a church (for example) that I've been scouting for that perfect time - and there's a powerline obstructing the view?? Drives me crazy!

Kind of thinking about upgrading to a D600. Perusing adds last few days, and then yesterday seems like all the D600's dried up! Don't know where they went! Anyone else notice this? -Randy
