Nikon EN-EL15A Battery issue. Brand new fully charged shows 84% in D500 and 93% in D7200 ? Anyone else noticed any discrepancies/issues with the D500 or the A series batteries ? Perhaps I just got what I paid for, $27 from China ! Cheers, Don

I had the pleasure of shooting a cremation urn made by my friend Leon Lacoursiere of Dalmas, SK. The wood is figured cherry. Leon turned the cylinder, hand and power carved the details, threaded the lid and made a wax casting of the dove and it's base. Cheers, Don

Recently completed, the base is wane/natural edge bubinga, carcass is figured bubinga, top is birds eye maple and the turned handle and feet are macassar ebony. Roughly 7" H x 7" W x 16" L. Cheers, Don

It has become some what of a tradition for me to make wontons on New Years day. The wrappers come in a package of 60 so @ four per bowl of soup they last me quite a while (in the freezer) :) Over the following two evenings I made a batch of chocolate biscotti and shortbread cookies...

Still amazed these birds can swallow a cashew whole and continue to gobble up a number of almonds at the same sitting ! D7100/80-400mm @ 330mm, no crop. Cheers, Don
