    Post Your Birds (3)

This is a Clapper Rail, probably blown off course by the recent hurricanes. They are usually not around here. Yes that is a beetle on his face.

October Monthly Assignment: "Something spooky, eerie or scary" (Marilynne's choice)

    Post your flower pics

Not exactly a flower but it was very pretty glistening in the sunlight. It is milkweed and apparently a lot of birds will use it as nesting material.

    Robin's Assorted What Not's

I caught this bluebird and his family diving from low tree limbs into some dewy grass for their breakfast. I see them there quite often so it must be a good spot. This is the first time they allowed me to get close enough to catch a few pictures of them dining. They must have been pretty hungry.

    Dominique’s old stones (mostly)

Really like the photo with the road, it really shows just how high up on a rock the castle is located. And I sure am glad I wasn't the one to carry all that stone up the hill!

    Dominique’s old stones (mostly)

Very pretty, I love the gray skies and the trees out in the middle of a sea of yellow. Quite stunning!

    Photography football

I use my Tamron 150-600mm for sports on a large playing field like football or soccer. It works very well. I take pictures of my grandsons games. Indoor games, like basketball, I switch to my 70-200mm.

    Post your macro photos here

I'm not sure, it does kind of look like it. I had just thought it was just some fuzz but now I see the fuzz looks like it has red eyes. Thank you!

Post Your Black and Whites Photos!!

I would not have known at first glance but the clouds do make it appear to be a dark kind of day but I can see shadows that would indicate it is a sunny day. So with that in mind I think I should be suspicious, but I also have not seen the color version.

    Robin's Assorted What Not's

Alright this is my last try. I had the PPI set to 96 so I changed it to 72ppi. The long edge was already set to 1000.

    Robin's Assorted What Not's

I changed some of the export settings and cropped in a little closer. Hopefully, it will make a difference.

    Robin's Assorted What Not's

The original photo straight out of camera before I even load it into lightroom is probably one of the sharpest photos I have ever taken. When I process my photos I off load my camera to my computer then cull the photos using Fastone. Then I upload to lightroom and make adjustments, then if...
