The above gator went under the boardwalk. These Mottled ducklings were headed that way. Mom was a little concerned, but they went under the boardwalk. And came out the other side without any incident from the gator.

Saw this BNS at the retention pond also. Looks like one chick to the right.

Today at Wako They were at the retention pond diving like crazy, but couldn't get them through the chain linked fence.

Went back to the Wood Duck nest and guess who was back! At least this time, momma was sitting on her eggs.

She waited it out and finally reclaimed her nest

An Anhinga was sitting on top of the Wood Duck's nest. Momma tried to get in, but the Anhinga had other plans.
