Poor Heron has lost its leg, I am guessing it escaped a crocodile.

Just where you see the start of the calm is a big drop off, there could be a Salty there ready to launch and you would not see it. Not smart...

This is the 'Barrage' its what keeps the salt water salty and the fresh water fresh :) its also a great place for Crocs to hang out at low tide as fish risk the gauntlet.

I just thought I would experiment again with my 80-400 and a 1.4TC I think its usable and takes it to 550mm. These are straight out of camera no editing at all. First is the crop.
