    #TheFrontStepsProject

If your town allows people to get out and walk while maintaining social distancing, here is an interesting project. Taking photos of people on their front steps. This particular group does it for charity although we have a local photographer who is charging for sessions...

    Hark 2020

I was finally able to photograph Wilson on the squirrel feeder. It's close to our backdoor so I went out the front and walked around. Even though he knew I was there, he proceeded to eat. While he really likes peanuts, it's the sunflower seeds he loves. It must not have taken him long to figure...

    Hark 2020

Here's my little friend Wilson - it's been a while since I was able to photograph him. The aging bird feeder will be replaced one of these days. ;) At least Wilson isn't complaining about it. This was the first time I've photographed a turkey vulture perched on a branch. Usually I only see...

    Hark 2020

Is anyone familiar with the song Saturday in the Park by Chicago? These were taken on Saturday...in the park. ;) And looking at my calendar, July 4th also falls on a Saturday [Saturday...in the park...I think it was the fourth of July]. I want to be sure to take some pics that day. :cool...

    Hark 2020

This was taken last week at church. Sadly they decided to cancel all activities at the church including Worship. At least our Pastor videotaped her sermon and posted in our church's Facebook group. Anyway...at the least the magnolia tree looked nice. :encouragement:

    Weekly Challenge Mar. 18 - 24: Nature

@cwgrizz there are a number of entries that are close with the total likes up to this point. So I am going to bow out of the challenge. There are plenty of great submissions so far. :)

    BIF - D500 with the 200-500 lens

@DaveNewman I hope it's okay that I reposted your images to make them larger for forum members to view. Hopefully it will allow them see any issues with shutter speed.

    B&H Payboo card

If you use the B&H Payboo card for purchases, be sure to check your invoices. The other day they offered the Vello screen protector for sale. I was supposed to save on tax and placed my order with that card. What I noticed is the correct item came with my name on the invoice; however, the order...

What are your thoughts on this....

Above was one of my first images taken with the D7200 and the refurbished teleconverter on my 300mm f/4 PF. Back when I compared this refurbished TC with the first preowned TC, I swapped them out to make sure the refurbished one was the one I wanted to keep. Ever since I have had no end of soft...

Saw this cute chocolate lab taking a swim and playing fetch with a stick. His name is Harley. :)

    Hark 2020

Bucks County has a variety of scenery. Entrance to a Waste Management landfill. At times the smell is just awful especially with all the gases it creates. :hurt: I've been getting a lot of my eagle photos in this area. Seems the eagles hang out over the man-made hills by their own choice. This...

Voting for Mar. 4 - 10 Weekly Challenge: "Vintage"

Congratulations @Needa Andy W @cwgrizz and @Dangerspouse - the hyperlinking hasn't been working 100% of the time lately. In all honesty, I expected to see a few entries finished with a sepia look. Surprisingly there weren't any.

    Dirty monitor

You might want to look into some type of screen protector for your body. I've been using this one on mine although I don't have a touch screen. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/883535-REG/vello_gspu_nd800_screen_protector_ultra_for.html

    Dangerous Spouse Pics

DS, make sure you use a lens hood. If you are able to stand right next to the fence, carefully place your lens hood against the chain link. Shoot with a somewhat shallow depth of field. Here are two I shot doing just that. Granted my TC was mounted on my 300mm lens making my DoF even...

Can you help ID this bird please?

I hope @BackdoorArts will help me ID this hawk. I'm guessing Red-Tailed Hawk although its tail feathers don't appear too red. The other thing that is throwing me off is its chest. Back when I photographed a Red-Tailed Hawk, the white area around its crop was much larger. There seem to be several...

    Hark 2020

This bridge took over 18 months to replace - lots of delays having to move power lines. I certainly hadn't expected it to look so nice. The last image is the Delaware State Canal that runs beneath the same road, but it is about 50 feet from this bridge.

Over on Facebook, Popular Photography shared this link for Polar Backup Cloud Storage. It offers 3 plans with a one-time payment for a lifetime subscription. Has anyone ever heard of it or used it? 1TB: $39.99 2TB: $59.99 5TB: $99.99...
