I have a question about dragonflies. Do some dragonflies have naturally lubricated eyes? The reason I ask, is that when I shoot certain type of dragonflies, I can never get the eyes tack sharp, and yet on some other species I have no problems at all getting tack sharp eyes. For example, this...

Went out to take some sunset shots for the weekly challenge. Call me crazy, but I may enter a B&W sunset. LOL:confused:

This was almost a lucky shot. I was taking a few shots of the butterfly to the right, when this other butterfly decides to fly into the shot. Unfortunately I had the focus point already on the feller to the right and the flying one didn't come out sharp enough. Dagnabit!:mad:;)

This is a good point. As much as @wev uses the long lens, I would definitely recommend going with the 200-500mm if he could get enough for the Tammy without losing too much. I'm not trying to be a fanboy of the Nikon 200-500mm lens, but it is truly an awesome lens. I use to love shooting flowers...

On the 200-500mm If I have time in the morning, I'll take a few picks with the 70-300mm outside and post them up.
