    New J4 to be announced!

So much for the rolling them together theory! If it has the new sensor and the filter removed it would be an upgrade over the J3. Of course if it is overpriced..., the V3 is the one for me. I think it's worth about $499, will be interesting to see what they put it at. Nikon 1 J4 mirrorless...

    The new Nikon 1 v3

Looking like a nice little package. At first glance, I was put off by the price. Upon further review, I think the kit with the new lens, EVF, grip and performance specs might not be unreasonable after all, Nikon V3 Review: Hands-On Preview

    It's never the same

You can't go back, not always. Now that I've been back into photography for a few years, I'm remembering how impossible it is to recapture that almost perfect shot. I find myself going back to some spots expecting to do better, when I actually did my best the first time around. It is amazing how...

I'm on the fence with this.

High ISO test: Here's a couple quick snapshots, using the 18.5 mm 1.8 (50mm view), which I highly recommend if you get any Nikon 1. These are both shot at ISO 1600 (4x the recommended dosage :)), ambient light and no flash. RAW, no sharpening or noise reduction applied! f2.8 f1.8
