Has anyone heard anything concerning D750, or other Nikon equipment, availability? I got the last one from the store I patronize on Saturday, and someone I know tried to purchase one at another store and they were told that they had none and were not likely to get any in the near future...

How important is Nikon's Nano coating on telephoto lenses greater than 400mm? I ask because when I used to shoot a Hasselblad, the T* coating was considered important on wide-angle and normal-angle lenses, but the T* coating was not considered by all to be that important on telephoto lenses...

And then came the second, and last, Blue Iris I saw all day. This one was in the shade, which led to more saturated colors. A plamp and stake would have been very helpful here. WM

This small, about five feet long, gator obviously has no idea of the events on the other side of the reserve, otherwise there is no way it would be as relaxed as this one is. Or maybe this one is a female and isn't threatened by the bulls. WM

A bit further down the trail, near the dock and observation deck, I was able to photograph this Catbird. It was gone almost immediately after this shot. I then turned my attention to a Cardinal and chased it for about five minutes. I felt like a paparazzi chasing a celebrity, as this bird...

And is this the same Snowy Egret as before, or another one, further down the trail? I couldn't tell... WM
