    Along the Blue Ridge, I came across many family burial plots. Obviously, this is the Shaver family. I'm not sure if the sharp stones on the top are for keeping critters out, or keeping the occupants in.

    The Home of a Midwife

    This cabin was the home of a mid-19th century midwife. For our Euro-friends, that's old here in the Colonies. She reportedly birthed more than 1000 babies, all of which survived infancy. Ironically, none of her own 24 children lived beyond infancy. 24 babies. Think about it.

    For the money, it's hard to beat. I use mine regularly on my D3300. Here are some actual examples. My only other suggestion, going forward, is to inquire about equipment before you buy. You'll be a lot more confident in your purchases. Good luck.
