    Ted outside Teddy is feeling a little better today and he got outside for a bit on a truly glorious day here in NE. Just a couple snaps with Nikkor 35-70 f2.8D AF at a lower ISO and without glass in front of him to show how handsome he is! Still just JPEGS straight from the camera.

    Almost went for Sony A900 or A99 due to my huge collection of Maxxum glass thought about D600/610 test drove Canon 5D III and 6D extensively and this blog post sums up most of my thoughts re this move back to Nikon because of the brilliant D700 Couldn't find it posted elsewhere so here it is...

    Borrowing one of these vintage beasts now, iq seems nice/ok and price is right (cheap) and glass is spotless. Anyone here own or shoot this lens. This is not the subsequent D version. Nikonites have thoughts or comment? I am trying to avoid a random kit of overlapping glass with this mount...

    Current price for D700 shutter replacement

    Have a chance at a D700 working perfectly but with very high shutter count. I would expect replacement would be needed soon. Has anyone had recent replacement of their D700 shutter? Curious as to what the current price for this is. thank you so much
