Not my typical portrait setup, but I thought it worked pretty well straight off the camera for me. (Edited to add that I did notice I have lens correction applied, but otherwise no post processing)

Maybe not the typical use of this lens, but the light wasn't working well while testing with the TC14III, so I decided to turn around from the birds and make an image with Lisa and our pup Lily instead.

Yup, I'm seeing the same behavior as @mikew. On just about every page, it seems to be working. When I jump to New Posts and get redirected to the What's New page, Shoutbox doesn't load. As soon as I navigate back to another page, it loads up.

I don't think this is exactly what they meant with that saying, but I will say that food poisoning sucks. Going on my 3rd night in the hospital so that I can recover enough to get back home. How creative can you get with photography while stuck in a bed attached to an IV?

I agree with @hark. Ultimately, it really depends on the amount of available light. The 24-120 and 16-35 are my go-to travel lenses, but doing night weddings in dark places I'm always going to reach for something faster. If the wedding is outside, during the day, the 24-120 should do fine. For...
