Thanks, Dawg. I have been imaging more DSO targets (nebulae and galaxies) after these. But some of them were not satisfying. So I have been studying and learning the lengthy DSO post-processing workflow and each critical and tricky step on the way... but just not there yet. Can't imagine this is...
I use z8 for wildlife photos and z6ii for everything else, including sports during the day. Depending on the site and other conditions, I use either z8 or z6ii for nightscape photos. GL for upgrading.
I am a z6ii and z8 user. From my experience, you won't regret of owning z8 considering for wildlife photography. You have already experienced its superior AF capability. Congratulations!!! What I want to suggest is also based on my experience. Right after I acquired z6ii, I got the FTZ adapter...
