@Phillydog1958 Are you recommending the V3 over the D700 my friend?

Thanks buddy, I really appreciate it! I kept your Stevie Nick safe and well cared for for you buddy! She will be ready to come home to you very soon now Pete my friend! :D

Which would you choose to buy if you were me? A D700 or a V3? :) I have a nikon 1 V1 with a few lenses for the V1 along with a flash! I have a D700 a D300 and a variety of Nikkor lenses, nearly all af-d type! I also have a sb-800 flash and three tripods and three Nikon battery grips to fit the...

What do you recommend in the way of lens and such for macro on a D700? I ask this out of curiosity more than need really, since I love my D700 so much! :) I have a Nikkor AF 105mm micro d lens. Would a Nikkor AF 200mm micro d lens make up the difference of the FX vs the DX D300 without the...

I just saw the D750 new HERE for $1629.00 in case you want one while they are still on sale! :) Just passing on the info in case it's worthwhile to you. I'm more interested in the D700 as I posted in the want to buy sub-forum! ! :)

I tend to agree, but I'm also bothered by the sold items sometimes still being listed. Someone might try to buy what is already gone, and some posters don't seem to bother coming back much. So who knows what's still up for sale? Just my two cents. :)

Thanks for your interest, but the offer is cancelled. :D

I know it's a bit silly of me, since I'm always wanting more Nikon stuff! But here are a few other sSnap-on ratcheting screwdrivers I just bought besides the lime green one posted earlier! @Blacktop my teeth gave up on me years ago, and now they just strip out screws right and left! Lol ;)

Yes it's true! I'm a huge fans of these awesome screwdrivers! They aren't cheap but man they work great and feel great in your hand! I've had three in my life and after miss placing the last one, I bought myself 4 more of different colors and such! A lime green one, a dark green and gold 75 year...

I just got to try out my new to me Nikkor AF 24mm prime lens! Here are three shots from this lens! :D

Lol I'm afraid I don't have anything to trade anymore! Lol :D

Great advice! Jack can really help with the setup! :) @Blacktop I'm taking great care of her my friend! ;) Maybe you can get another one soon for backup buddy! :)

With the right amount of ambiant light, the the 6400 would be my opinion! Though after being up all night, I'm too tired to test it.

My beloved has been sick lately, but otherwise she is doing better! Thanks for asking. :) Here are a couple high ISO shots for ya! :D

Yes I did. :)

@mikew PS. I haven't tried shooting outside at night lately, but I'll sure give my D700 a big try when I do! I'm very impressed with this camera! :)

Hey all! What ISO would you say was a good high end for the D700? Being use to the D300 and being new to the D700, I admit to being fairly clueless! Lol ;) I figure knowing the good ISO top end might be a real help if I try any lower light shots! :)

I'm using Photoshop touch on my android tablet, and it seems to works awesome for jpeg format! But I shoot raw now and it doesn't handle that! Lol :) Photoshop express sounds interesting! I might check that out too! :) Thanks @Eyelight buddy! :D

Hey folks! What pro F series models are compatible with the sb-800 flash? It seems to work fine with my Nikon F4s, and I imagine the F5 and F6 will too, since they are even later models. But what about the F3hp and older models? Any info on their compatibility with this flash? I'll be getting my...

Hey everybody!:D I didn't start this group myself, but it seems like a great idea for a group and I joined up! So why don't some of you who still shoot film now and then join the group with me! Old School Film Shooters Here is my favorite Nikon Film SLR model so far...
