posting these as its a new bird for me, bad shots (dark), anyway they said its a Lincoln sparrow, the small sparrow in the hole in the 1st 2 shots and to the right in the last shot.

i had a look at the Ladderback thru one of the Birders spotting scopes, it looked like it was in full sun light.

i wonder if they are my distant relations??

this Quail was on lookout duties, about 10 more were running about in the bushes/shade.
