My own 18-135 is in for repair (again) and as I'm off to Venice in a couple of days, the shop lent me one of these for the week. It's not a new lens, but the 50 or so shots over the past two days I've been quite impressed with this old boy. It's heavier than I'm used to, but that's no issue...

I've had this kit lens for just over 2years. its started making quite a loud clicking clunking noise when auto focussing, and seems to hunt quite a bit. I guess it's a repair jobbie? :-(
