Close to me is this Grist Mill dating to 1785, it was an 4.5 story apartment complex before a bad fire in January 2022. The top story and the attic were destroyed in the fire, efforts are ongoing to restore the mill a local land mark.

I had photo karma at the lake, I was walking along the road to the other end of the lake and a bird fly's out of a tree - I was unprepared but got a shot - an immature Eagle

I am close to a small lake so I knew the ducks would give something to shoot in flight, most were heading away from me but great practice The group AF was awesome

First real day in the sun with the D500, practiced in the yard off and on in the morning - little butterflies are hard to trap in flight (for me) this is a good shot for me

Its a good thing to bring up, I have several PC's and the action is the same on other PC's. I tried most practical Googlies with no results. I found an astounding amount of finicky action with CF cards and various readers. I ordered the one Clovishound has for a try, before computer surgery

That's what I need (I think) I was looking through and made some improper assumptions that they were all compatible, mine says "XQD card reader". In trying to figure this out I learned much about the XQD and CFexpress type cards. Cheap enough to give a go, thank you!
