    Woody's 2022 Photon Quest

Woody wrote: I don't see any way to do a multi quote. Hopefully that can be added. Yes, it looks like Woody used 1/1600" for the shutter speed. I am using Firefox and prefer its EXIF viewer extension that is available better than the one that's available for Chrome. This one requires right...

For those using Firefox, xIFr by Stig Nygaard is an EXIF viewer. Just right click any image and a new box opens which displays EXIF. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/xifr/

⬅️ For those who aren't sure where to go to upload an Avatar (the pic that shows up to the left of your posts), go here. I don't know if there are file size limitations. I used the same one I recently uploaded to the old site. Just look for Avatar...

Frank, when you say graduated, do you really mean graduated or do you mean variable? They are two different things. I have a variable ND filter - this one by Tiffen. If you are interested in this variable ND filter, keep watch for Black Friday. B&H puts it on sale periodically. I paid $69.95...

    Good to be back.

I'm SO glad you can post more than one image at a time, Roy. I know the single/basic uploader was hard for a lot of people - but especially for you because you share so many images!

Just make sure each pic is set to Full Size, not thumbnail.

wev, are you on a PC or Mac? What I did on a PC is to click on Attach Files. Then when the window opens, I hold down the Control key and click multiple images. Then I hit enter. They upload together.

Lol ... well, there's one way around it for those using Chrome. I installed EXIF Viewer Pro then right-clicked your image and chose the option to view the EXIF. The following showed up. That's a lot of EXIF. 🙃 And most people won't want to spend that much time trying to read all the EXIF...

    Post your latest purchases.

[whispering psst ... B&H has a Payboo card where you won't pay tax on purchases with them.

Yes, but the EXIF doesn't appear to display here. And it doesn't seem to link the pic back there to view the EXIF either. So I'm not sure how it's supposed to work.

Marilynne, go to the thread. Click the 3 dots on the upper right of the thread. Click Edit Thread. Change the title. Click SAVE (don't click Delete). That should do it.

Hi and welcome to Nikonites. I have no clue about an AC adapter but maybe @FredKingston or @nickt can give you some info. When you ask about filters, what kind? Neutral density, polarizing, something else?

Black & white images with one selective colour

Is what Clovishound posted what you are asking about? That is called selective color. When I read your post, that isn't what crossed my mind. Here I was thinking you wanted the entire pic converted to B&W with the areas that were red (but are now B&W) to be enhanced - kind of like the way color...

But the EXIF isn't displaying on the forum although it's showing up as data in the Media section. Marilynne said jdeg said EXIF is supposed to show up when shared from Media. Do you see any other way to do that?

There isn't any EXIF when uploading directly which is what I did. I sent Marilynne an email asking if she can figure out how to share from Media because I have no idea how it works and can't figure it out. For these above, I clicked the Attach Files option below the box I'm writing in. BUT you...
