Servicing a 400mm f3.5 AIs lens

I have a manual focus 400 mm f 3.5 AIS lens. At the front end are three very large lens elements that are housed together. On the inside edge of the front lens, there is some fungus. The problem is getting the three elements separated so that I can access the inside of the front lens element. There are two metal casing parts that need to be unscrewed so that I can begin to access the elements. I’m wondering if there’s anyone here that has some tips on how to go about this or can refer a place that can handle this job. I can’t get those two metal housings to separate. It looks like it might require specialized tools. I haven’t yet tried the acetone to loosen the cement that may be there but the problem is gripping the metal surfaces without damaging them. I don’t have any tools I would trust for that job, but I might be willing to buy some.
