Z6III, firmware 2.0

Camera has been worked fine for months. Shot last night. When I tried to change AF area mode with my button only 2 worked. Checked a8 and the modes I didn't see were checked to be on.
Tried in U2 I used last night (shooting manual) and manual, no change.

Now it works fine for a few shots then goes 3D only.

I went through the manual, found nothing that helped. Google didn't either. Searched here, no luck.

Thanks

I don't have an answer for the direct question yet. But when it is resolved, I recommend you save the full camera settings to the memory card. Then you can restore from the card when stuff goes awry in the future. My method uses an old, smaller size CF card as the backup media, but I realize the Z6-III uses a much more expensive card as the primary. I also keep color profiles stored on that card and do my firmware updates with it.

Hudson Henry did a tutorial.

I figured it out. When you program the button for Cycle AF Area Mode you have to press right on selector. It brings up all options you'll have when you press a8. Didn't find this documented anywhere. Probably a Steve Perry YouTube I missed.

Thanks.

Apologies for my ignorance...

Who is Steve Perry? I searched, but only the singer comes up...
