Z7 ii dof preview?

Hello,
My name is Kate Simmons. I have a new Nikon Z7 in that i am learning and enjoying. I would like to be able to set a DOF preview button, though.

Online forums have instructions to set control buttons f1 or f2 to "preview", but that isn't offered as a choice on this camera. Is there a way to set that up?

With the Z7ii you press the menu button, then go to "Controls", then "Custom controls". The FN1 button icon should be in yellow. If you want it set to FN1 button then touch the yellow FN1 icon on the screen and a list of functions will display. Scroll down to the "Preview" item and touch it. If you want it on FN2, do the same only on the FN2 icon.

Glad to help. Keep in mind, if you are using the U1,2 or 3 options on the mode dial, you have to set preview for each one of them and save it to each one of those individually.
