I am so thinking now that the 14-24 is too delicate of a lens, that I pulled off the shelf the old workhorse 15 mm 3.5 prime..
ahhh now that is a tough lens,, built like a tank, durable, and smaller to carry, I can carry it easily in a side bag, and
unlike the 14-24 poorly designed bag, it does not weigh down my pants.
The 15 mm takes wonderful pictures also.. and can range from macro close to grand landscapes
two random shots from this weekend, one close up, and one more normal range, the Nikkor 15 mm can do it all. I forgot
what a nice lens this was. I course I still love the 14x24, but will not use it as much, on more active days, I'll go
back to my 15 mm prime, and not be so worried.
