well,, I tried tonight a comparison strip of a few cameras,

tripod timer release ,, but 1/3 a second, 50 mm F 71. ISO 125

D200, 700, 800, 810,,

_DSC0034 200 better strip.jpg

the D200 is a bit scaled off, can see some difference in color tone, D810 quite nice, with the D200 seems to be second,

almost seems like the D700 is the sharpest in this results. is it the sharpest , off course not, but on the tripod, with
the same exposure it held up, 810 was was a hair sharper then the 800. the box was about 2 feet from the lens,
and picture cropped quite a bit.

I'll have to repeat a daylight, faster shutter speed. I suppose I could use a remote release,
but I find them inconvenient (lost quite a few over the years),

what I do find impressive is how fine the D200 holds up! nice and sharp, nice
color cast, really a gem of a camera and only paid 240 used!..

got the D810 for a few more days, but kinda loosing interest in it, whiich is very good, since
happy with my D800.
