so,, I am quite happy with the sharpness of the D200,, and here is two examples.

not bad for an ancient sensor,, I threw the camera in my harley, just to have one,, good thing
or even just for engine detail

and this is with the junk zoom lens. could the D800 take better, of course, but still pleasant and
plenty usable.
