When I am in a rush,, I grab my trusty D700 and ancient but goody 28-105 Nikkor with a macro function too,,
this lens is very flexible, and sharpness holds up quite well,,,
so ,, for example,, maybe I use it for a water shot like the following:
and then you can can switched gears for a macro mode..
this is a two shot stack hand held today
so,, the lens provides lots of range and details not that bad,, and of course, do enjoy the classic D700,, no rush to get rid of this one.
