printing as large as my printer can go,, 13x19,,, love how pictures look when you print large,,

so,, take for example the following picture.

it really really pops when you put it behind glass, and the bigger the print, the better,

now here is the cool thing,,, if you look at the print you will see line of footprints going up the dune, and would you believe, there is a person RIGHT at the pinnacle when I took this picture!

I never would have noticed except for when I printed it,, I could see this strange pattern on the edge of the dune, and sure enough,, its a person's footprint,, and there is the person on top of the peak,, funny,,


well,, ok,, I find it interesting,, and so you never know,, what you will find in your landscape shot.

oh,, I should state the lens for this shot was with my 80-400 Nikkor lens,, with the D800, not bad for a long zoom.

Yes it seems that some photos just pop more when they are printed large. The same photo can appear mundane when printed smaller. Of course these new cameras with their large file size makes it much easier to realize larger prints.
