Chicago, Burlington & Quincy railroad baggage wagon at the Monmouth, IL station, 1976. Amtrak's California Zephyr ended service to Monmouth in the early 1980s and the depot was demolished. [1976, Nikkormat FTn, Plus-X]

Second Brigade Club House. I went to see the boys on their annual poker run. It is about the only time I hang out at the clubhouse but it is always good to see them. I retired from there a long time ago, but I do love those boys. They all came to Pat's funeral and escorted us to the grave site. I think that is like I am just a bit mellow today. I miss her today.
