I didn't know those existed. Very cool. My Dad was a radio operator on a blimp during the Korean War. He got lucky and stayed in the states, but man, he could tear through some morse code. He had an Extra Class Ham license. I never got past Novice. So, I was stuck on Morse Code. Never got to use the mic. It was kinda of interesting. I only did it because my Dad wanted me to. I got a couple of certificates and a bunch of call cards.

Interesting. I never got my code speed up fast enough to get my EXTRA class license (It's not required now for EXTRA). I am a grandfathered in Advanced class licensee which is no longer available. The code is not required for a Ham License now and there are only three classes of licenses: Technician, General and Extra. Long story is that I am trying to get proficient on the code again.
