Theme is not decided yet?
You guys are completely a league apart from me, so far i played with exposure (for the firs time), iso, white balance and manual focus. Do not know what more can a d7000 do :p

We're all always learning Kamesh! Keep shooting and experiment, learning a new camera is a lot of fun!

Lol @ Billy.
How modest @ cnyram :)
Just tried to shoot two flies mating, but my 18-105 refused to give a clear picture of any one of them. That's where the macro lens comes into play, i think.

Tomorrow is India's Independence Day, will try to go out shooting :) Somehow, i do not believe in the post processing technique

By the way Kamesh, your gallery photos of the children are really quite good, and a couple of the pigeon shots are great. keep it up!

Am so pleased to hear that Billy. Thank you so very much :)
From bird photography to portraits, it's difficult to change the settings. Still to explore U1 and U2 modes and how they work :)

How this HDR is used? Any special feature in d7000?

From my Galaxy S2 (Tapatalk 2)

Youi have to use the "Bracket" function. It's the button just below the flash button. While depressing the bkt button, you adjust the main wheel to decide how many shots you want bracketed and the front wheel to decide the difference of exposure between the shots. Then, using the continuous high speed shutter, you depress the shutter and hold it. 3 shot will be taken very quickly with different exposures.
Then you have to use photoshop "merge HDR" function to load all 3 shots and the program will create a picture composed of the 3 exposures. You can also use "Photomatix" which does that also.

The bracket function is more or less well explained in the user manual.

Have fun.

Funny how all of us have jumped on the "HDR" bandwagon, After all, Damon has yet to announced a topic.

I jumped on the HDR bandwagon simply to get on Damon's nerves.

I am not a huge fan of HDR, but it's not my place to tell others how to process THEIR

images. Just as it no one else's place to tell me how to process MINE. :)
