Cindy, I'm sorry I have not responded to your question yet. I could have sworn that I did respond a few weeks ago but now I just don't see it. Maybe I was getting ready to respond and my mind just went wandering someplace else . Either way better late than never!

Yes, there was another boulder right behind the one in the foreground, but it was sitting a little higher and much drier. I had the D750 on a tripod for that shot and I had the D500 with the 200-500mm lens sitting next to me waiting for the rafter people to come around the bend.
