This was one of their "test mules" and had unceremoniously ran into the back of a slow moving bus (is there any other kind ?) and had it's nose crumpled a bit... so it was in for major repairs before being back on the roads of Northern Italy in all sorts of weather & traffic....

At the time of taking these photo's I was driving this...

drove my very reliable VW all over Europe for three years, ended up down the West coast of Africa... sold it in Dakar... wonder where it is today ????

In Singapore I was enjoying some very clean, very inexpensive, air conditioned Mercedes taxis (Solitaire Limousine Services - if anybody is interested) - sad to say they were the polar opposite of our local taxis here in Melbourne ... oh well ....
