I just read in our local (Prattville, Alabama) paper this morning that we broke the record held since the late 1800s for the wettest December on record here Over 14 inches of rain for the month. normal is 4 inches.

What I did not add was it is also the warmest December on record also. That is the reason for all the storms and rain. It is 60°f right now which is way to warm for January.
