We had one that slept in front of the fire and when he got too hot you could tell he was looking at us saying move me ime too hot

One of the few great decisions I've made in life was to ask this pretty girl out, about 15 years ago. She who became my wife. I didn't think too much about it then, but over the years, I realized I had more than found my soulmate; I found my soulmate and she cooks! She doesn't just cook, she bakes, she studies recipes, she tweaks and enhances and experiments and has added whole new dimensions to my formerly bland Midwestern palate. This shot represents one such effort, a banana bread.

Oh, and she introduced me to wine too. I like wine.

Awesome shot! I haven't been able to get anywhere close enough to a belted kingfisher for a decent shot, although I hope having a boat will help in that, next year.

So I have not posted here for about 4 months. Let's just say that this summer was not the best and photography took a back seat. Anyway I didn't take a lot of shots in November but this one I took off the deck was one of the better ones. I do have about 1100 from October when we finally went on vacation. Guess I will post some of those over the next week as soon as i figure what threads to put them in.

So many to choose from while I was down in St. Maarten. But I guess this one was my personal favorite since I enjoyed shooting around the airport there.

Maho was really crowded every time I went there. So I didn't get underneath it. I did get some video footage of it from just out side Sunset Bar and Grill. And many shots of it from the side of the runway.
