Kinda loaded bag Question

I know this question is kinda loaded but i need your help/ recommendations...

I'm looking for a backpack or sling that will allow me to carry my D7100 and Tamron 70-200mm lens. I am not looking for super bulky and I am fine with carrying just the one body and lens combo. I currently have a lowepro sling 200 but this bag does not allow me to carry the rig assembled. Could someone suggest a bag?

Lowepro make the Flipside Sport 10L AW, thats made for that combo, with space for a couple of lenses.

Consider the Manfrotto Pro Backpack 30. I have the Pro 50 myself and holds my D750, with grip, and Tamron 70-200mm with a lot of room for additional gear.

The more compact '30 sounds like it might be what you're looking for.

I also have a D7100 and when I bought my 70-200 I needed a good bag. I went with the ThinkTank CityWalker 20.
Haven't regretted it yet, holds a lot of gear, very durable, good looking and does not scream CAMERA bag. Two mesh pockets on either end hold a water bottle, or more gear. Check it out, or the Citywalker 30 series.

I fit everything in my sig in to my Retrospective 20. It's a really tight fit, but it all fits!

If you send me that 500 it would go a long way in alleviating your space issue. Let me know, just trying to help a brother out!

Would a 300mm f/2.8 or 400mm f/3.5 ED-IF (MF) fit in there?

Unsure, but I'm thinking unlikely. The Tamron 150-600mm does not fit in that bag, and it looks like anything with a filter size over 77mm will be too wide. The forum hot links on the two lenses you asked about suggest that the filter size for both is 39mm which sounds inaccurate, but I haven't searched for the specific lens details.
