Rubbish or another nail in the photographers coffin

Wow. I didn't realise that taking and publishing pictures of "cultural goods" is prohibited in Italy. Hence, this picture, I took last year in Vencie, is illegal:

I cannot even count how many "cultural goods" are in this frame. I'm a serious criminal. Carabinieri, I'm waiting for you!

Same as every thing else too many people sat in offices with no real work to do,so they come up with hair brain ideas to keep themselves in work.

There's no limit to how far this could go. What if a news agency wanted to write a negative story about McDonalds or Taco Bell? Could they not use a photograph of the restaurant because the logo or building is copyrighted? Hell, how about not allowing the news agency the right to even use the copyrighted/trademarked name in the news item? After all, the news agency would be using someone else's trademark for their own profit...

The Scientologists threatened legal action against a critic who used the word scientology in his domain name, so people really do try this stuff.

Just another reason not to go. Shouldn't these idiots be far more concerned about what is going on with the economy, environment, Russia/Ukraine, etc., etc., instead of somebody taking a picture of a ferris wheel??? Next thing you know, they will somehow try and charge you for just looking at these "copyrighted" objects. You can't fix stupid!
