Awesome Prohibited Photo :)

Seems there is a current controversy about whether taking a picture in planes, of planes or even at or of airports is prohibited.

Is it a security thing?

Or prevent embarrassment protection after video of baggage handlers tossing luggage out of an air plane went viral? - Just google "baggage handlers throwing luggage" and look at all the images and videos.

Maybe in time such photo's will be rare contraband.

Thanks! It's a Japanese airliner over Japanese airspace. It has nothing to do with anything happening in America. It is not a prohibited photo as both JAL and ANA allow you to take photos or video from take-off to landing. As long as the device you're using doesn't emit any signals, you can use them (camera, GoPro, etc.) on Japanese carriers anywhere in the world. All that controversy is on U.S. flag carriers and since I don't use any airlines that are American, I don't have that problem.
