This Woodstork was banded on 5/8/2014 by the University of Florida when it was to young to fly per the U.S. Geological Survey.

On the way home from work this afternoon, only had my phone with me, I was trying to get a picture of the landscape, but these 2 had other idea's and would not move out of the way.

This Woodstork was banded on 5/8/2014 by the University of Florida when it was to young to fly per the U.S. Geological Survey.

It appears that the banded leg is stouter than the other. Wondering if the band had anything to do with bone growth on a young bird.
