No, you're right... It's definitely there and thank you for pointing it out. I think I got a little heavy handed on the Levels Adjustment Layer. Wow... I don't know how I missed that.

The shot has been reworked and re-uploaded (or it will be in a second); and yes, the crop is also just a liiiiiiittle different now as well.

EDIT: I think some of the weirdness is still there... Not nearly as badly but I'm not seeing it at all in PS... Strange.

Maybe try Photoshop - filters - lens correction, remove chromatic a..something?

Those aren't my bowls, that's student work at the college where I work as the department manager of the Fine Arts Department. I couldn't throw a bowl like to save my soul! LOL... I admire those who can, though. And yes, those that are really good at it make it look easy when it's anything but.

I'm only talking about the image Oz And studio = photo studio. My dad actually makes pottery (is that the general word for plates, vases, cups etc?) and some of his stuff are amazing! Sadly he lives very far away, so I don't have any of his stuff.

Ah... My mistake!

My mother used to do pottery when she was young (and yes, that's the correct word, ceramics too) but she stopped when she married my father. I love watching potters work but I don't think I have the patience required.

Knocking today's photo out early, on the drive into work, actually, since I don't think it's going to get a whole lot better than a halfway decent rainbow shot. There was actually a faint double-rainbow going on with this one but there's a limit to how much rain I'm willing to endure for a shot while driving it to work and really, it's a pretty low threshold.

This shot was taken with my Tammy 70-200mm with Hoya CPL attached for anyone who might be interested.

the fact that you got a rainbow shot itself speaks volumes, i dont think the people of the mid to northwest really understand the bad weather we are experiencing here. :rolleyes::rolleyes::cool:
