During CFL games, when the ball gets run out of bounds, into a pack of photographers, I look to see who I know.

Everytime I watch a movie and I see a DSLR, I'll try to see the brand and model.

Funny you say that, I do the exact same thing. Everywhere I go now, I notice the cameras/lenses and even bags. If I am curious about it then I approach the shooter and inquire.

As far as TV/Movies, I used to never notice the cameras but now its like my eyes are drawn to them. I always love the end zone shots in football games, amazes me those guys can even move around there are so many with a bunch of equipment.

Whenever I see a photo of photographers at some big event, like the Superbowl or the Olympics, I start counting which lenses are white, and which are black. I just can't help myself.

I used to check what cameras people on TV/film use, then I stopped...

I didn't want my to disown my favourite characters because they used Canon equipment
