Lightroom 5 Adjustments

I have downloaded the trial version. I have been making adjustments to some pictures although it is quite hard as the picture is quite small so had to see that much detail. After I make the adjustments I want to get the pics into full screen to take a look but how do I do this? I have tried emailing the pics to myself but they then look like the originals. Is there a way of for instance saving them to my desktop for example so I can take a look in full screen? After making adjustments there doesnt seem to be a save button to save the changes?????

In light room double click the image, or go to develop mode in LR, also there is a slider (bottom right) to make the thumbnails larger.

To save the file to look at in another program, you would use File/Export.

But as Scott mentioned, you can enlarge the view while in Lightroom. Using the Navigation dialog you can view at different magnifications. YOu can also minimize the side, upper and lower menus to get a near full screen look.

Yea that works just thought I could get it full screen so I can check it out more. Any ideas what the red marks are and how to get rid of them. Every picture :(

Those are the clipping indicators. You can disable those by clicking them in the histogram. The two up arrows when in Develop mode.

Thank you. Not the sharpest with computers. Trialling this and Elements but still unsure what to use. My PC knowledge is very basic

How can I save an adjusted image to then forward to someone else? Saved on image but just goes back to the original. Doesnt do the usual things when you right click e.g save image as etc

In LR, images are exported as (whatever you define).

Check the file drop menu, it's there.

Any changes done are normally auto-saved in your catalog.

Like someone said for fullscreen pic - hit F key

If you are wanting to send a picture to someone, setup your email preferences. You can choose where your email is sent from (gmail, yahoo, etc) and it will verify your info. Then when you right click on the email you can choose send email and it will send it.

I'd suggest you go onto Kelbyone.com and signup for the trial version. Take the Lightroom 5 basics class on there. It will get you going in the right direction very quickly.
