Has anyone received a new D610 in the Nikon D600 Settlement Replacement Program?

My new D610 has spots!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nikon took back my spotty D600 and sent me a new D610 replacement. I put my only Nikon lens on it (28-300mm) freshly cleaned, and in a very clean environment, and took my first D610 shot. It was perfectly clean. Great!

Now after only 83 actuations, AND NEVER REMOVING THE LENS, I took an F22 sky shot to check it. SPOTS!!!

Will inform Nikon of this. Make no mistakes, this D610 has the dreaded spot problem! Here we go again!

I'm not in front of my late monitor, but I can't see them. Could you post a 100% crop of the spots you see?

I see 3 tiny specks that look like dust spots. Just because you never removed your lens doesn't mean you can't get dust in there or some tiny little particle of some sort.

Wanting an update on mine i enquired into what they were planning to do with mine. Lady in UK repair centre told me they were;

"replacing the shatter mechanism with that of the D610 and giving them a good clean. IF this didn't resolve the issues, which it has in the vast majority of cases they are replacing them with D610. But this is in only rare occasions."

I can see the spots. That does not mean you have an issue. The world in full of dust, you will get dust in the camera. The dust could have easily been there before you changed lens and just moved to where you now see it.

It also doesn't mean you have a problem... but don't jump the gun and throw accusations about that could be ill founded.

do anyone involved in Law suit and got an email?
I have d600 I purchased at the best buy, and would like to get it replaced with d610. If anyone who has the Qualifying Statement, Short Form Release, and Confidentiality Agreement, can you send me a copy to [email protected]
I appreciate your help.

You had to sign up when they offered it and if you did sign up you would have received an email with all the necessary forms.

Just sent mine in, arrived in Melville today. Will I get an email from Nikon with ticket number? Hopefully mine cones back clean or if I'm lucky I'll get a D610. Managed to get a copy of the class action paperwork and included it in the box. I don't know if they have a list they work with from the attorneys office.

Well I got my original D600 back today, sensor was at least clean this time, even if the mirror box was most certainly not!
I think Nikon UK service centre need to spruce up their work shop cleanliness..

As a follow-up here, emailed Nikon via their 'Contact Nikon Customer Service' web page about the spots on my new D610 from the Nikon D600 Settlement Replacement Program.
Nikon promptly issued a paid shipping label, and returned my D610 in nine days, it came back nice and clean. High marks to Nikon for how they've handled this whole D600 issue, and how they are making sure people are happy with the D610.

My image of the spots was hard to see, so here it is again with most spots circled.

Tried that, Sent signed lawsuit paperwork (was posted on line) They just sent me back my D600 with shutter replacement. So I assume they must have a list of the class action participants.
