I got a chance to play with my new backdrop on Sunday.

Unfortunately, I can't color change it with gels like I wanted to. At least not with speedlights...they just don't have enough power to evenly distribute light. Looks like I have an excuse to pick up another AlienBees B800 so that I can use some larger gels.

At any rate, here it is.

Great lighting Anthony. I just love these softboxes they really make the eyes sparkle. I like the backlight on the boy and would have liked to see it on the sister too.

I'm not a fan of the pink hair, either. No way I'd let my daughter do that!

The pose is a mixture of both, Robin. The kids were horsing around and I snapped a photo of him climbing on her back when they were wrestling around. We liked it, so I got out a small step stool so that he could stand behind her and we could pose the final shot like this.

The new back drop obviously works as intended. Nice job on the photo. Nice lighting and contrast. The pose is good, too. You're getting good at this, Anthony. You should stick with it. ;)

Nice shot Anthony. Not a fan of pink hair either, but I gotta admit the color does work well with the gray tones and really pops!
