Nice old Smith! Is that hammer bobbed?

I like mine a little more modern.

It is a bobbed hammer. That is a S&W Model 1903 that was made in 1917, chambered in .32 Long CTG. My grandfather brought back when he returned from WWII. An heirloom that I don't plan on ever shooting.

I too prefer my active inventory to be a bit more modern.

You have a nice collection, as well presented in those very nice photos!
