There's a couple photos in this, but figured it fits here cause it's more to do with the ant than the photographs.
I'm watching this little anthill and these little ants zipping up and over the crater edge and into the hole, and back like Flash Gordon. I figure they were moving at a rate of 10 ALPS (ant lengths per second), which in car lengths would be roughly a little over 100 MPH (161 Km/H).
Checkout the overview and you can see this one little guy slightly left of center on this edge of the rim.

Now, check this out. That little ant is literally plowing through a pile of boulders (grains of sand), bent back and raised up and legs flailing so fast 1/250 was too slow to catch them. Reminded me of that Jeep commercial years ago where the Jeep was climbing the big rocks.
