Macro Hover fly

I'm pretty new to the world of macro -- I don't actually even have a macro lens or srt of tubes. I discovered (accidentally) that I could focus very close to something at 55mm with a cheap-o "fisheye" adapter and 18-55 kit lens. The lens was almost touching the fly! I'm finding out that I enjoy it though and plan to pick up a true macro lens and remote shutter control in the very near future.

Out of these two pictures which do you like better and why? Any feedback is more than welcome! Good or bad.

Thanks,
Derrick

I fixed the images. What haven't I filled out on my profile? When I go to profile tab everything is there as far as I can tell..

Thanks,
Derrick

I like the second one as the fly is very sharp and detailed. As you can assume, I have seen this photo elsewhere! Had to take a second look because it was so familiar. BTW, nice shots Derrick

I am new to photography and have an interest with macro. May I give my comment? The focus is not on the head especially the eye. Usually that is something macro shooters like to do.

OK, pictures finally loaded in. Now i can see them. :) I like the second one, because it's more in focus, and I can see it better. The first one is a little dark. And they look like bees to me........not flies! :)
