So this morning I'm just looking at the Craigslist ads, and I came across this.


Nikon D3200 Camera With lens - $140

Selling my back up camera mint condition Nikon D3200 Camera with 18-55mm VR lens, less than 200 shutter count, excellent condition. Email for more details.


Whaaaaa?????? Sounds too good to be true. So I send off an email (using my "Craigslist" email :cool: ). Here's what I got back about 20 seconds later:

HI,

I just sold out this to someone, but I can tell you where I got it from.
I just picked up 4 of these from www.*****.com and I resold them on here for some extra money.

The trick is to watch for bidding to slow down and then put in a bid. That's what I do and I win all the time.

Yep. Age old issue, certainly not specific to Craigslist. Common sense should kick in for all buyers, not always the case.
