At the moment ime playing with a well used D700,called in at the dealers and it was traded in yesterday by a mate of mine,i didnt know he was changing gear. Its losing its rubber grips and the dealer was going to order new ones and fit them but bump the price up because it would look so much better, ime not bothered about that but would want to stick them down if i go with it so any advice on a glue i can get in the uk.

Super Glue like mentioned and not sure if you can find it but I have used e6000 on applications like that. The pictures look good, I almost went the D700 route myself. Its a fantastic camera.

I was really impressed when I was shooting a baseball game, had my 7000 and 70-300 which is not a low light setup, and another guy was shooting his 700 with the 70-200 2.8. I will tell you the combo he had blew me away and that was only looking at the image on the camera screen. I went through a lot thinking and researching and found nothing bad about it. Just decided to get a new D600 because the deal was right and I got tired of looking for the D700 in great shape. Also, I am sure if I could have gotten my hands on one and not just look at them online I would have purchased the D700.

This one isnt the smartest kid on the block but i know its history now, i dont think i could run to the smartest kid on the block model anyway.would get 6months warranty and then if i have to dig deep so be it,the amount of times on here i have said i cant see me going full frame is embarrassing :D the main problem will be its not for my birding lens so i only have the sigma 105 macro to use on it,need to get a 50mm,the shop lent me a very nice nikon 20mm 2.8 d but its going back
