I'm sorry but iPad photogaphy really gets my goat.

Some people who uses DSLR are shooting with iPad, smartphones too cos they want upload quick a photo to Facebook, Twitter, etc..

That may well be, but I can't get why they want to insert a big screen between themselves and reality rather than just live the reality.

I'm sure, I took a few quick shots with my phone to upload while I was there, I just find it funny and like to poke fun

I see lots of ppl make movies as well using their other device than DSLR

I also end up taking a lot of photos on my Nokia 5MP phone. It is convenient, discrete and in proper light good enough for A4 prints. Here are two examples that I printed and presented to the bride's family. Taken in winter in the evening.

Very nice. I'm 6'5" and find that I often need to crouch to avoid dwarfing smaller subjects.

Also it might get better photos than that canon.

I think there is a time and place to use an iPhone for taking a photo and the new ones do a great job.
