Snow in Alabama

Heading back to Tuscaloosa for a few days. Just looked at the weather report and they are predicting snow. Don't think it will be enough to stick but it is going to be very cold.

My Mom passed away this evening after several years of failing health. She hated the cold and I am so sad that the day we bury her will be so very cold. We had to keep the heat up in her house and she would still put a blanket on over her to stay warm. It is funny what you think of in times like this.

I am sad but I know that she is better off now since she has been in pain for so long.

Been lots of tears And lots of smiles tonight already. There comes a time when you know someone's time. Mom's time had come. She lived 87 years and had a major impact on everyone set met.

I lost my Mom a long time ago,but she gave me so many words of advise, I hope the love she gave you and your family will carry you through the sad times,nothing beats a mothers love.I will say a prayer for her
