My Photos All of a Sudden are not uploading

I'll piggyback on the Mac comment and say that I had sporadic issues uploading photos here, as well as to Facebook and Flickr last week with a Mac and Firefox. It would take some and not others. It would upload 3 of 4, but not 1 of 1. It got to the point where I'd upload more than I needed and then delete the ones I didn't want just to get the ones I did. It stopped happening over the weekend. This would happen regardless of cache clearing and rebooting.

Okay, this should be fixed. I found a patch.

Let me know as I don't currently have IE11 installed to test.

What I like about you--if there is a problem, you quickly take the initiative to resolve the problem! That's one of the many reason why I prefer Nikonites! ;) Even though I'm not using IE at the moment, thanks for looking into this. When I switch computers, I will be going back to IE myself. :)

OK now that was freaky, when I tried to upload just the photo it was blank. Then I typed you the message that it still wasn't working and it attached my picture! What the.......?

I think I narrowed down the problem...before I downloaded IE 11, I was able to upload a photo without any typing in the body of the message and the picture would show up before I clicked on "Post Quick Reply". Now when I upload a photo, it does not show up and it requires me to add text. I click on "Post Quick Reply" and it works!!!

Wow! Lots of hate for IE here.

It is the number one web browser used for downloading another web browser. Give it some credit!

Weird alright. The photo doesn't appear as the post is created, but shows itself after it's posted. And then it appears in an "Attached Thumbnails" box.

Reducing the size is not the correct solution. I tried to upload three pics last night in the Nikon P Series subforum as part of a longish post. Two of them got through okay, the third showed the dreaded "attachment... ". When that was clicked, it went to a "broken link" message which included and option to message the site admin. HA! Apparently the message went to wherever the missing pic is or somebody got it and chose not to reply. But since the later is so ill-mannered, I choose not to believe that anyone with any responsibility whatsoever would do it.

The three pics were all straight out of the camera, 4000x3000ppi. Two went through okay, so it's not the size. Also in preview, everything looked fine. It was only after I hit "post thread" and then looked at the post that I realized it had been ruined.

I'm using Chrome, have no trouble uploading pics to any other site, have emptied my cache and cleaned up the area around my computer, applied deodorant and am always clean and polite and most of the sores have healed up, so IT AIN'T THE DAMN USER'S FAULT! Something is wrong with the site software. Duh!
